THE FIRST STATION UNDER THE ORLEN BRAND OPENED IN GERMANY.

THE FIRST STATION UNDER THE ORLEN BRAND OPENED IN GERMANY.

On April 8, 2020, the first station under the Orlen brand opened near Berlin. This is an important step towards a complete rebranding of the chain in foreign markets and strengthening of the company's position in Europe. There are already about 600 Orlen-star-branded filling stations in Germany, available in each of the federal states.

In business, bold and well thought decisions guarantee success. PKN Orlen has great potential. We also want to take full advantage of this abroad for the benefit of the company and the Polish economy. We have been present on the German market for a long time, constantly increasing our share in it. We are actively working in this direction, having opened the first station in Germany under the Orlen brand. We have taken many actions to strengthen our recognition, and now they are bearing fruit. German customers are eager to choose our stations because they associate them with professionalism, high quality services and products, says Daniel Obajtek, PKN Orlen Chairman of the Board.

The Orlen station has been opened in Seeberg-Ost near Berlin, on highway 10. It operates as a stop cafe and O! Shop concept. This means that customers can do quick and convenient shopping, as well as take advantage of the rich gastronomic offer, including hot dishes, e.g. hot dogs, soup, hot sausages, i.e. the popular bockwurst, as well as sandwiches, salads, freshly squeezed juices and coffee. .

Due to the state of the coronavirus pandemic announced in Germany, the same high safety standards apply at the station in Seeberg-Ost as at the Polish stations of the concern. All products from the gastronomic offer are served to go, and accessories for hot drinks, e.g. lids for cups or stirrers, are available from station employees.

PKN Orlen started the strategy of unifying the image of its stations on foreign markets in November 2019. As part of cobranding, the Orlen Group logo was added to the local brands star and Benzina at all stations in Germany and in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Dispensers, price pylons and screens inside the station are marked with it. The concern is also present in Lithuania, but from the very beginning all stations have operated only under the Orlen brand.
