According to the document dated 10 January, 2020, the first phase of the facility with the capacity of 4000 m3 (20 tanks) is ready for operation along with four auto-tank filling posts and 8 rail loading pumps located on the territory of 11,000 m2. After the launch of the second stage of the project, the capacity of the tank farm will reach 6,000 m3.

The new gas storage is located at rail station Pereyaslavskaya, Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky district, Kiev region (next door to the "BRSM-Nafta" tank-farm).

The Progress tank farm is equipped with 8 rail tanks loading, as well as automotive tanks loading terminal.

“During the construction of the gas storage, we acquired the most innovative pumping and compressor equipment manufactured by the American company Blackmar, while Polish Broen supplied shut-off and control valves,” Mr.Lobov added.

Also, it should be noted that, in line with the latest regulations the new tank farm also installed modern Alisonic level gauges and electronic data transmission systems in the state fiscal service (DFS).

Accordingly, after the end of testing, the seventh LPG tank farm will start its operation in the Kiev region. According to OILMARKET, the combined volume of one-time storage in Kiev region will reach 9,750t.
