BASHNEFT UFA REFINERY STOPPED THE FIRE AT HYDROTREATMENT UNIT
UFA, April 16 - Firemen extinguished a fire at the production site of PJSC ANK Bashneft-UNPZ in Ufa on an area of 140m2 square meters, no one was injured, the Emergencies Ministry of Bashkir republic reported.
According to the ministry, the message about the fire at the production site of PJSC ANK Bashneft-UNPZ in the Ordzhonikidze district of Ufa arrived at 3.41am (1.41am Moscow time). 35 firefighters and 14 units of equipment operated at the site.
According to the Bashneft press service, there were no casualties or injured. Due to the fire, the unit operation was suspended. “Key production processes continue steady operation,” the company representative added.
The fire occurred at the diesel hydrotreating unit. Later, the head of the regional communications department of Bashneft, Rustem Taymasov, said that the fire had been extinguished.
Bashneft-UNPZ with an installed capacity of 150,000 b/d (7.5mn t) produces motor fuels Euro-4 and Euro-5, heating oil, as well as a wide range of LPG blends.
The oil refining complex of PJSC ANK Bashneft is represented by three refineries with a total capacity of 482,000b/d (24.1mn t/yr): Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim, Bashneft-UNPZ and Bashneft-Novoil.
