OKKO ENDS 2018 AS TOP JET FUEL SUPPLIER FOR UKRAINIAN ARMY
One of Ukraine’s biggest retail operators OKKO in 2018 has become the largest supplier of aviation fuel for Ukraine’s Defense Ministry. According to the electronic trading system Prozórro, in 2018, Ukraine’s Defense Ministry acquired 57,300 t of aviation fuel.
OKKO won tenders to the supply of 21,120 t of jet fuel, the Trade Commodity structured – 16,120 t, SOCAR – 13,070 t and WOG - by 6,900 t. The total cost of acquired jet fuel amounted to 1.697bn UAH or about $60,61mn.
Novopolotsk refinery in Belarus supplied almost all of the aviation fuel supplied by OKKO for the Ukrainian army. The average price was UAH 29,512/t. ($1050.3/t).
