ATYRAU REFINERY IN KAZAKHSTAN LAUNCHED ARCTIC DIESEL BLEND KHAZAR PRODUCTION WITH CFPP -32°C
In the end of November, KazMynaiGaz 110,000b/d Atyrau refinery launched new arctic diesel blend output with maximum filtration temperature of –32°C.
Daniyar Tiyesov, deputy chairman of the Board of NC KazMunayGaz JSC on oil transportation, refining and marketing stated this at the 5th international conference “Oil refining and petrochemistry of the Caspian region and Central Asia”.
“New diesel blend is entirely domestic product, so we called it Khazar -32. This name was chosen according to the voting results of the plant workers. This fuels satisfies requirements of the environmental class K5, that is, it has a minimum sulfur content, which means it is less harmful to the environment,” said D.Tiesov.
