RUSSIAN LNG ARRIVED TO BOSTON
Russian LNG cargo loaded in December at Sabetta port in Russia’s Arctic area has arrived on 28 January 2018 to Boston.
The New England is struggling this winter with unexpectedly low temperatures and suffered natural gas shortages.
Engie S.A. Gaselys with some 93kt of LNG brought this cargo from the British Grain terminal. The Russian LNG airrived to the UK onboard of the Christoph de Margerie arctic carrier named after the former Total head who died in Russia in suspicious aircrash in 2014.
From Grain terminal the cargo owner Petronas UK resold it to the new owner and the cargo left for the TransAtlantic voyage initially expected with the arrival on 22 January.
The market rumors had it ostensibly changing hands and even route on the way until on 28 January the Gaselys harbored in Boston.
