"ROSNEFT" STARTED SUPPLYING CRUDE FROM YURUBCHENO- TOKHOMSKOYE FIELD IN THE KUYUMBA-TAISHET PIPELINE
Russia’s vertically integrated giant NK Rosneft has started supplying crude in the Kuyumba-Taishet trunk pipeline. The company had started ahead of schedule oil supplies from the Yurubcheno-Tokhomskoye field at the initiative of Russia’s pipeline system operator Transneft within a format of a temporary technological scheme, authorized to operate by the regulatory authorities. The oil company is supplying crude under pressure into the 14 km long 100,000 b/d pipeline and then goes to the main pipeline Kuyumba-Taishet.
The early start of the crude shipments has been made possible due to the construction and commissioning of the first phase of field facilities.
Starting from 2014 the East-Siberian Oil and Gas Company (VSNK) actively implements the investment project to develop an expanded priority area of the Yurubcheno- Tokhomskoye field. This project creates the production infrastructure for the industrial development of the oil-field.
The industrial shipments will start in 2017 when Yurubcheno-Tokhomskoye field will be put into operation.
PJSC East-Siberian Oil and Gas Company (VSNK) carries out pilot production at the pilot site of the Yurubcheno- Tokhomskoye field in Evenki District, Krasnoyarsk Territory. The PJSC Transneft Kuyumba-Taishet pipeline will connect Yurubcheno-Tokhomskoye and Kuyumbinskoye field with oil pumping station in Taishet and further down with the trunk oil pipeline Eastern Siberia - Pacific Ocean (ESPO) for exports via Kozmino terminal on Russia’s Pacific shore.
