BIZARRE PARALLELS AND PREDICTABLE GROWTH
Efforts of Ukraine's government to curb prices on domestic oil products market, just as its resolution limiting the growth of products prices signed on 14 April, give only temporary breathing space and work only as far as crisis management methods go. Russia also proved unsuccessful in fighting the plague of (even higher) oil products prices, consoling itself with half-measures. By mid-June, both Russia and Ukraine are poised to experience successive motor fuels price hike.
