|SHUKHRAT DANBAY: We grow on difficult projects|
Our meeting with Kazakhstan's 100,000b/d Pavlodar Refinery Managing Director Shukhrat Danbai took place amid a major effort the refinery team was making in order to accomplish huge amount of work. Thousands of specialists from several countries carried out an extensive set of complex and interrelated works, the aim of which is to enable Pavlodar Refinery to start clean fuels output in 2017. The industry professionals naturally have great interest to the development of the refinery modernization project in Pavlodar, and in this busy period Shukhrat Abdurashitovich had spared his precious time to meet with the OILMARKET magazine editor.

On the 21 September 2016 the Vostochno-Messoyakhskoye field has now
been officially commissioned. The Vostochno-Messoyakhsky licence block is located on the Gydan peninsula in the Tazovksy district of the Yamalo-Nenets
Autonomous Okrug — the closest population centre being the Tazovsky settlement, located 150 km from the field. The project has had to be developed in the absence of pre-existing industrial and transport infrastructure, with 400,000 t of freight being delivered by water transport and ice roads throughout 2015–2016.

|Gazprom neft Moscow refinery begins installation of equipment for Euro+ unit|
I nstallation of major equipment for a modern Euro+ combined oil refining unit
(Euro+ CORU) at the Gazprom Neft Moscow Refinery has now begun. Two hydro-treatment
reactors and an isodewaxing unit, produced at the Izhorskiye Zavody plant, St Petersburg, will form part of a hydro-treatment facility for Euro+ diesel fuels. The total weight of the installed equipment is more than 500 tonnes.

Of the light oil petroleum products only LPG-segment develops dynamically. If in 2013 the balance of gasoline and diesel fuel was about 10mn t, in 2015 it reduced to 7.5mn t. In its turn consumption of LPG in 2015 crossed
the mark of 1.1mn t and according to UPECO consulting company's predictions will reach 1.3–1.5mn t in 2016.
