Modernization is in full swing at Kazakhstan's 100,000 b/d Pavlodar refinery. In just slightly more than a year, in the 1st quarter 2017 it's supposed to enable the Kazamunaygaz refinery to gear up to the outN put of gasoline and diesel of K4 and K5 classes (local equivalent of Euro 4 and Euro 5 blends respectively). The modernization is also aiming to significantly enhance the refining depth.
